Apparently Cook had a chat to the curator and made some request regarding the pitch for this game. But the curator did the opposite of what Cook wanted.

    Cook had said to him

    "My way or the highway"

Swann got a decent amount of turn there.

To be honest, I'd rather have Sehwag still batting at lunch lol. Athough I will admit this might cause Sehwag to play a rash shot since he's been of strike for a while

Probably our best chance of a wicket is him trying to get a ton before lunch and giving it away.

Imagine how many runs they would have by day 3!

    Around 700 I'd assume.

Precisely why I wouldn't want him on strike, although I think it's gonna be tough to do regardless with only 15 minutes and 30 runs to go.

Five good balls, so why don't you bowl a half tracker outside off stump. WAC!

Broad bowls 5 balls dead-on good length, wicket-to-wicket, impossible to get away. One ball outside off stump and whack!

This short wide filth trick has worked really well today. Hope Flower and Cook have a right go at the bowlers at lunch.

We will see a lot of driving on this pitch...

    Because it is a road.

I have a feeling Samit will get the breakthrough. It might not be until 350/0 but I'm reckoning he'll take the first wicket.
