Yeah, Reid adds some variety to my bowling unit. A lefty seamer is always handy!

2. Mark Taylor - 7525 runs at 43.49, 19 centuries
3. Ricky Ponting - 12320 runs at 54.27, 39 centuries
4. David Gower - 8231 runs at 44.25, 18 centuries
5. Basil D'Olivera - 2484 runs at 40.06, 5 centuries
6. Warwick Armstrong - 2863 runs at 38.68, 6 centuries; 87 wickets at 33.59, 3 5w hauls
7. Richie Benaud (c) - 2201 runs at 24.45, 3 centuries; 248 wickets at 27.03, 16 5w hauls
8. Gubby Allen (o) - 750 runs at 24.19, 1 century; 81 wickets at 29.37, 5 5w hauls
9. Godfrey Evans (wk) - 2439 runs at 20.49, 2 centuries, 173 catches, 46 stumpings
10. Derek Underwood - 297 wickets at 25.83, 17 5w hauls.
11. Fred Spofforth (o) - 94 wickets at 18.41, 7 5w hauls.

12. Gilbert Jessop - 26698 FC runs at 32.63, 873 FC wickets at 22.79 (18 Tests)

Strengths:
- Ponting, Gower, D'Olivera makes for a quality middle order that's great to watch
- Three all-rounders gives plenty of both bowling options and batting depth
- Great spin bowling with Underwood & Benaud
- Purists' gloveman Evans to work with them
- Thorough tactical pedigree with 7 (count 'em, 7) Ashes captains

Weaknesses:
- Fast bowling has guile but lacks real firepower
- Armstrong as third seamer could be questionable on unhelpful wickets
- Openers are good but forgettable at this level
