No other players are close to any records. For India, current players already hold most of the India vs Aus records:

Most Runs: Tendulker with 2748
HS: Laxman with 281
Most 100's: Tendulker with 10
Most Catches: Dravid with 44

....oh hang on, Tendulker needs 4 ducks to equal Ajarker's 8 for most ducks

Quick look at the papers also indicate a fair bit of hype for them.
