Kallis and Murali have to be in there. But then there doesn't seem a good player left to bat at six. Dravid is too slow to bat there, as is Kallis, and neither of them bat there usually anyway. I have therefore picked Flintoff, as he gives lots to the fielding, he's got Gilchrist coming below him, and he balances the pace attack nicely with the two spinners. Plus he adds a good personality to the bowling attack, makes them more watchable.

KP says hi.

Although in all seriousness, most test batsmen would rather get hit and bruised than lose their wicket, and with helmets being universal in this era, injuries worse than a nasty bruise are pretty much out of the equation.
Graeme Smith glares at you after Johnson breaks his wrist yet again.

Langer?

Why no Smith or Sehwag?

EDIT: Oh and why no Kallis? He's a much better allrounder than Flintoff.

Cue Aussie spouting nonsense that Kallis hasn't taken a 5 wicket haul since 1846, ignoring both Kallis' supreme batting and the fact that Flintoff himself only ever took 3 in his entire career.

As far as I can see, this poll's results are clear.

Kallis, Dravid and Murali are going to win comfortably.
