If the first Test was any indication, he'll do the job himself anyway. Seriously reckon he doesn't have the stomach for the fight any more.
Well he certainly didn't show it this past summer, filling his boots for Durham. If he can fire himself up to score runs for a county side, you'd hope he can do it for West Indies.

What kinda shot was that?
KOK on the radio just put it down to LO cricket. That these days, batsmen feel they have to play a shot a ball, and the mindset leads to dismissals like that.

Mind you, it also leads to 286* from 233 balls.

Time for Johnners though imo. IIRC has a very good FC bowling record in Adelaide.

It almost looked as if Gayle was shaping up to hook it, but he either picked it late, or it shot off the pitch a hell of a lot faster than he was expecting.

Thought he was looking for the uppercut tbh, but it was too close.

Dougeh with some good pace here.

Only played here a couple of times and has a 5-fer. Bearing in mind, it was against SA. :) Took wickets against NZ last year too?

No margin for error on this pitch, no swing, no seam and yet the Windies are one wicket away from shooting their load.

WI have a habit of doing that here. I remember when they scored 130 on day 1 of Bevvo's match on a perfect day for batting. Was pretty sad.

Think Adelaide was the match where Lee cleaned up NZ, thought Johnson did have 5/6 for the match for not many. Also took 5/6 v India in 07/08.
