Personally like the look of Somersets XI and Matts XI. Went for Somerset XI because it (arguably) the two best all-rounders in the time-frame in Gilchrist and Kallis.

I went with Michaelf7777777's XI.

He's picked similar players that I picked in the Pre WW1 draft in Dravid, Tendulkar and Walsh.

Pollock, Hayden and Crowe makes it 6 world class players.

Atapattu, Srinath, Stewart, Mushtaq all had distinguinshed careers. Blignaut is the only exception.

Went for Athlai's team. Gun bowling, very good batting - should win plenty of matches.

Matt's team fairly comfortably imo. Most of the teams have 1-2 weaknesses but Matt's is very strong.

Many of those teams struggling with the available choices of captain. Not many of those teams have a decent one available. And then the team with a good captaincy selection (NUFAN's) doesn't have a particularly strong bowling attack with only Ambrose being truly World Class.
