If a cricketer's career was a tune...

The RD-bopping is becoming pathological. Geddalife, people.
I've got him on ignore actually and have had since before his last absence, finally deciding that life's too short for his particular brand of pissy self-regard & monomania. I only saw him describe my efforts as "patronising crap" because Volts quoted him. Considered reporting it, but thought it more fitting to respond in kind.

Perhaps you need to check the meaning of the word "patronising". Although it's hardly new for you to use a word which you don't know the meaning of.
I'm well aware of the meaning. And I'm also well aware it was perfectly appropriate for use in terms of the comments I was referring to.

I'm a touch tired, but here's one that I don't think has been done:

Andrew Flintoff - Orinoco Flow (Sail Away) by Enya

Haha, so cruelly apt.

Actually, I think it'd be more apt for the same event to say...

Jordan Knight - Don't Run -- Lance Klusener

I'll be sympathetic to Sinclair

Sinclair-Boulevard Of Broken Dreams-Greenday

Jesse Ryder-Bad Habit-The Offspring

Might take a band and see which of their songs apply to cricketers, way easier.

Rahul Dravid, Mark Richardson-Defy You-The Offspring
Marcus Trescothick-Self Esteem
Symonds vs India-Come Out and Play (Gotta Keep 'em Seperated)

As you can see mine don't stack up to most in this thread. Awesome thread.

I was actually thinking of the whole of the recent part of his career - one of the key lyrics from that tune is weeping for the memory of a life gone by. Sinclair is still playing (so still "dancing") but with hindsight I think we can now say that the double-centuries and one-fifty were a life gone by as Sinclair almost seems a different player after them.

If I can procure some footage of those three famous innings, I shall be making an alternative video to the "Don't Worry Skippy", as also previously mentioned.
