Warne out of the World Cup!!!

He's injured (dislocataed his shoulder) ans as such is out for atleast 6 weeks, but since he had an operation on the same shoulder previosly, its likly that he won't recover in time to be fit for the WC!!

The World cups looks to be wide open now!!

Hardly, Australia have McGill in reserve...and also their batting is seriously strong.

Oh...and McGrath...who (and totally off the subject here) has figures of 14-1-67-0 in the VB Series so far...he's even bowled less overs than Darren Lehmann :O

I think if Warne gets out of the WC, then England would be benefitted most. How well has McGill done against England?

Yes but McGill isn't a half bad replacement. Just because one of their players becomes injured and might miss the World Cup doesn't mean the team will suddenly become seriously weaker! Warne is not as vital to Australia as Murali is to Sri Lanka...now that is an almost one man team...

Good point, Aus are not like SL who are much dependent on Murali. With McGrath,Jason and Lee, they still have match winning bowler!
