    The Greatest Allrounder Ever?

Its between Imran Khan, Richard Hadlee,Kapil Dev and Ian Botham.
Stats Wise Its Between Imran Khan, Richard Hadlee and Ian Botham.
I would say its Imran Khan but bowling stats wise Richard Hadlee is ahead of him.

Who would you say is the greatest all rounder ever?

    As batsmen ... Sobers > Imran > Botham > Kapil > Hadlee
    As bowlers ... Hadlee > Imran > Botham > Kapil > Sobers
    As all-rounders ... Sobers > Imran > Botham > Kapil > Hadlee

Kallis probably should be on that list but he's still not in Sobers class

Well I don't think he actually did.. but he came close. Regardless of which, he called Hadlee, Imran, Kapil and Botham better than Sobers which in itself is enough to induce a "Do Not Feed The Troll" sign.

Please do not look at Sobers' bowling average to see his value to the team. He bowled spin (wrist and left arm orhtodox), pace at a good speed with nice bounce, etc whenever and however his team needed it. His figures do not reflect his bowling value to the team. He could bowl three styles, all relatively effectively, and did so depending on what was needed. Not to mention he was so fantastic in the field too. One of the top three batsmen of all time, and one of the best slip fielders too, and a wrist spinner, left arm orthodox spinner and a pace bowler to boot.

If thats not an all rounder, I don't know what is.

It's pretty common knowledge that Sobers was and still is the best allrounder the game has ever seen. You don't need to have actually seen him playing in the flesh to appreciate that fact. Enough has been written about him and his stats speak for themself anyway.
