Lara - Just think these two legends (my 2 fav players ever) coming out to open would be awesome. Particularly in ODIs. The opposition would crap themselves. I'm sure they could do it in tests too
Dravid - Utter respect for him.
Sir Don - Greatest of all time, says it all.
Sir Viv - Sheer brutality. Chewing gum + No helmet =
Sangakkara - Love watching him bat, and he's a top bloke. Very sophisticated.
Warne - as a spinner myself I love watching him work his art and bamboozle the opposition batsmen
Akhtar - Love watching him bowl. Excitement machine.
Ambrose - Prob my favourite bowler ever
Murali - Ditto Warne
top list yo..

:-O

Bowlers would die. Especially with 20 overs of powerplay.

Burgey

Graeme Wood - Can't run between wickets.
Rick Darling - ditto - makes for a very entertaining partnerhip that will quickly make way for:
Bradman - what more need be said?
Lara - ditto
Inzy - can't run between wickets and always looks aggrieved when run out.
Sobers - best all rounder ever
Gilly - best batsman/ keeper ever and we need him with 3 guaranteed early run outs
A Davidson - left arm, 180 wickets at less than 20 a piece
Warney - bowls leggies
Marshall - bowls fast and good
Lillee - ditto

A combination of slapstick running, devastating strokeplay and variety in attack.

Or Twenty20 :boxed:  :crutch:

For me I have always picked an alternative all-time XI sticking clear of your Bradman and Sobers, everybody does it so I choose to be different.

Jack Hobbs
Sunil Gavaskar
George Headley
Sir Viv Richards
Graeme Pollock
Keith Miller
Allan Knott (my favourite keeper-batsman of all time)
Shane Warne
Wasim Akram
Richard Hadlee
Malcolm Marshall

12th man: Muttiah Muralitharan

Although on a spinning wicket you could take out a fast bowler and chuck in Murali. Richards would captain, I reckon that is one execellent side (tho' Warne may not bowl much  )

Samuel L's yorker is crap though, he never lands it on the spot.
But he can kill snakes and quote bible passages before executing someone.

If he adds the yorker to his repotoire he's probably better than Bradman :-O
