Brett Lee coz he played his heart out every test and was so unlucky... he should have had more wickets than he did and should have had his fifty twice... and he was a great sportsman thru it all too... exept for his last spell which i think he was gonna kill someone :p i wonder what made him so angry?
I think it was a little thing that made him a wee bit angry ,it was called an urn and it contained some burnt bails or something like that.gee if you knew he was going to get angry over that we could have burnt him some ,if he had of asked hahahaha

He won more games with the bat this series than Brett did with the ball. That says a lot.
Actually it says nothing at all. Lee averaged 3 times what he did with the bat, you know. :p

That probably says a lot about Lee's series too - he's become a specialist bat..... :p

For England, it's a three-way fight between Tresco, KP and the Dragon. I think Dragon shades it, if only because he was the one out of the seamers who many thought could struggle - he was even dropped in SA, seems unthinkable now.
seemed unthinkable back then too. wins a game for england in the series, and then 2 games later gets dropped. makes the ' duncan always had faith in him' look like tripe.

Ponting? One great innings aside I thought he was disappointing with the bat. Although he only played in 3 tests I think McGrath did more. The others I'd agree with.
ponting was player of the series for england actually.

How much of it was Duncan, and how much of it the selectors in general though?

Your point is a bit ambiguous, but fwiw the selectors in general don't pick the sides on tour - Fletcher and Vaughan do.
