How the Universe came from nothing
A) 9 runs
B) 5 run penalty + 1 no ball + 3 they've run. The ball is dead when the fielder touches it.
Ill take b) to also be the approx answer to c)
Correct.![]()
Not the hardest question, just a bizzare scenario.
Here is the official answer.
a) 9 runs are scored.
b) The automatic 1 run penalty for the 'No Ball' plus 5 penalty runs for the
player returning to the field without permission plus the 2 completed runs plus
the run in progress (because the batsmen had crossed at the time the fielder
touched the ball). The ball is automatically 'Dead' immediately the fielder
touches it, so anything which happens after that does not count.
c) 1 (no-ball) + 3 (runs credited to the Striker) + 5 penalty runs. (NB: Scorers
enter these under the three separate columns in the new Scoring Records).

Question:
1989 - Australia vs. Pakistan - what is a notable item regarding that series?
Is it connected to the series result?
- As featured in The Independent.
"This is not the time for namby-pamby promising youngsters who might just do something; not the time for building for the future. Pragmatism rules and they don't come more pragmatic than Rogers."
- Victor Marks makes the case for stiff-legged and stiff-armed 35 year old left-handers in Ashes squads
Is it bowling related?
You know it makes sense.
LOL, I feel like an idiot. The trivia is wrong (i.e what I thought was true about the test, isn't). Nevermind![]()
So is the question still live or are you asking another?
Nah, someone else ask. I can't think of a good one.
I'll have a crack.
Tich Freeman is the only player to do what?
What, me worry?

First Class: 72 runs @ 9, 19 wickets @ 44.26
One Day: 205 runs @ 22.78, 35 wickets @ 44.2
T20: 27 runs @ 27, 10 wickets @ 28.2
Take 300 wickets in an English season?
I was looking for the only man to take 10 wickets in a first-class innings 3 times, but that's right as well. Your shot.
Since this too has gone to sleep let me try to wake it up
