No reports from Male Models v Tamil Eelam yet, so I suppose I need to do the honours. Tamil Eelam batting:

End of Over 17: 97-1, runrate=5.71, reqrunrate=6.79 (320-2)
Hammond 4-0-27-0
Delgado* 62 (48 balls)
Tailor 22 (44 balls)

Delgado's battering them, Tailor doesn't cut it. Bernard made an imposing 119 for Male Models, before Kilkenny and Law blasted in the final ten and made a solid target.

Intriguing match-up, as the loser will be placed fourth after two group A games.

I am discovering every day that Nkosinanthi is a F*****ing idiot!!! No effort to up the ante at the death and he has dissapointed with the ball so far:blink:
I have a Nkosinathi in my team too, they could be related!

My bloke is a handy customer with the bat though. He doesn't bowl. He has once, but we had to rest three players the following game after they tore various muscles laughing.

Lenka 6-0-40-0
Greene* 102 (127 balls)

End of Over 43: 218-3, runrate=5.07
Patterson 6-0-60-2
Greene* 103 (128 balls)
Hutchinson 24 (10 balls)

42.4 4 Patterson to Hutchinson
Bada-boom bada-bing. One bounce and into the crowd.
42.3 4 Patterson to Hutchinson
Wide and given the treatment, four runs over point.
42.2 4 Patterson to Hutchinson
Edged... Straight between slip and wicket keeper and four streaky runs! Hislop and Gittens look to the heavens.
42.1 1 Patterson to Greene
Advanced, played out to mid on, quick running between the wickets

And that's it. Hutchinson came out and smashed 24 off 10 balls to finish it off.

Thanks for the game mate!

BEST Indies, again, have taken advantage of the whipping boys (yes, :naughty: if you so wish.), so it's anyone's game from the top four.

I paid 800k for that. His bowling is as good as my other fast bowlers and his battins is identical to this guy's but he jus doesn't turn up when its crunch time. This season he averages 7 with the bat and 70 with the ball in OD games in Div 5 Is driving me mad

Oh yeah and that earlier post was at 3? in the morning.

Preliminary round, gameday three, Sunday 16 of March (Palm Sunday)

Group A:

00.30: Male Models (648) vs Swamibapa Leeds CC (10033)
05.30: Tamil Eelam CC (9382) vs Leverock CC (6550)
10.30: The Heath CC (3940) vs caves_beachcc (5102)

The Heath in a potential decider, as they would have considerable ground to make up if they lose to Caves Beach - who would essentially qualify with a win.

Group B:

00.30: Coco's Nuts (6533) vs oz fans XI (6232)
00.30: Saggers Mob (6473) vs BEST Indies (3872)
10.30: Fishs XI (15945) vs Guttedball (1817)

Saggers Mob in a very similar situation to The Heath, need to win against a side who have pummeled the bottom-dwellers. BEST Indies, again, essentially qualified with a win.

Home side, on left, to challenge and post here that they've challenged by Friday midnight BT-time, otherwise it's a forfeit. Away side forfeit if they haven't accepted the challenge by Friday midnight or 18 hours after the post here, whichever is the earlier.

EARLOBE

State 12th Man
I thought Bernard could have made the team again. Oh well.

I totally ****ed up my orders. Bernard was supposed to be my keeper, but instead was my fifth bowler, and Kilkenny played as the keeper, which he's worthless at.

Decent match in the end though, if I didn't screw up the orders it may have been a bit different, it was going to be close either way.

Game went pretty much as I expected so not too unhappy with that, at least we put 200 on the board. Grats to SoC, was a fair win and cheers for the game. :)

Looks to be a good matchup against Fishs XI, hoping we can have a decent game. :)

If cbcc win, you deserve to finish last tbh.

(Brackenhurst/cbcc have played once and we lost. But sshhhhh)
