CW BT Cup 6

Woodward	20 (11 balls)
For like what seems the first time this season, Mohammed got out. Early. The 12-game 1200-run man's dismissal didn't affect us though, as we managed to milk Heath CC's bowling for a respectable total. Now for my bowlers to do their jobs.

I was pleasantly surprised to wake up and find the match still going. Admittedly that's because we bowled first, but we've only lost 1 wicket in the first 3 overs as well, so it's not all bad.

Was pleased with limiting Citizens Erased to less than 300 tbh, considering I have a feeble/woeful bowling attack.

Getting rolled over by Abdul Kadir now. Figures of 5-2-6-3. Nice.

Should win this still but not happy with my team.

Code:
37.1 W	Pead to Johnson
Johnson lets a straight one go and it's taken his middle stump, poor batting.

End of Over 37: 195-3, runrate=5.27
Liddle	9-0-52-0
Johnson*	1 (3 balls)
Beaumont	54 (94 balls)
Last Wicket: Hiller c. Bromby b. Pead 99 (FOW: 191/3)
Hiller making about my 10th team 90 for the season. Whatta gun

End of Over 50: 289-10, runrate=5.78
Oldman	9-0-73-4
Allison*	53 (36 balls)

49.4 W	Oldman to Poke
The slower delivery. It has Poke beaten all ends up. Oldman and Bromby go up in tandem and the umpire makes the correct decision. He's out!
49.3 W	Oldman to Wikus
Swished outside off stump to a short delivery, top edging to a grateful Liebenberg at third man.
49.2 W	Oldman to Sicelo
That was a textbook forward defensive shot by Sicelo in every way except that he missed the ball which cannoned onto his pad. Plumb.
Gun ending. Should defend that, though Wikus and Poke are bowling through, so if they only take like 3 between them, i could be in a bit of trouble.

BARNES OUT

Solid effort mind, beating us in the last ten seconds with 3 of our best backman out for the season and with our two key forwards carrying knee injuries. Gotta pay that.
