Mine (first XI) -
Average BTR: 7,960
Average Age: 20.36

My first XI is a lot younger than at the start of the season, which is a good thing I suppose, though still only three u-20s. Hoping for two 17/18yo batsmen soon. BTR should rise fairly quickly now that I'm training fielding quite heavily, secondaries seem to have the effect of making BTR stupidly high for the player's actual ability.

I'm bored, so here are some more random stats:

Most runs:
Code:
	      [B]I R Ave SR HS 50s 100s[/B]
Cuss 24	2127	141.8	102.65	160	5	11
Berry 23	1420	88.75	84.37	124	10	4
Bridge 22	944	55.53	79.8	119	4	5
Gillespie 20	777	48.56	99.36	124* 4	1
Barrett 14	500	83.33	92.94	79	4	0
Most wickets:
Code:
	     [B]O W Ave SR Econ Best 5wi[/B]
Gillespie 207	95	10.14	13.07	4.65	8-30	7
Male 145	26	26.31	33.46	4.72	5-34	1
Berry 166	25	38.08	39.84	5.73	5-68	1
Oddy 179	22	38.64	48.82	4.75	4-12	0
Note the massive gap between Gillespie and the rest in the bowling stakes. Hoping for my three youngish bowlers to get better very quickly, Berry and Oddy hardly bowl anymore.

Upcoming milestones:
Gillespie - 100 career wickets (needs 5 more)
Gillespie - 50 season wickets (needs 6 more)
Cuss - 1,000 season runs (needs 47 more)
Bridge - 1,000 career runs (needs 56 more)
Gillete - 50 career dismissals (needs 5 more)

Enough stats for today.

Well, Was pretty easily beaten today. :(

Pitch: Green, They won the toss and batted
Them 3/290(50o)
Flowers 1/47(10)
Binns 1/55(10)

Me 5/278 (50o)
Haughton 67(90)
Rowe 67*(60)

Very disappointing, The batting just fell away after a solid start and the bowling was very ordinary.

I dont know ur squad or training schedule, but for me personally i wouldnt bother training him, but if u need a batsmen his worth playing even though he is defensive and has preety poor secondries

bah i came home hoping to catch some of my game but they were all out for 60 in 22.2 overs (Islam 3-22, Wilmott 3-9, Atkins 2-4, Keane 2-14) and we knocked them off in 11 for the loss of Webster. not good prep for sunday

Opponents 9-3 and I'm taking it easy. Ho hum.
Damn div III bots, I'm jealous. :p

I'm playing #8 today so it should be an easy win, but I'll probably manage to stuff up my whole season by losing somehow. I'm having good luck with the toss, won my 5th toss in 7 league matches, batting first again for the sixth time in a row. 23-0 after 4, Cuss closing in on 1,000 runs for the season. Now, if only someone would beat Banagher Knight for me...

Nice start today:

End of Over 18: 119-0, runrate=6.61
Follett 4-0-21-0
Cuss* 50 (45 balls)
Gillete 65 (64 balls)

Gillete doing well as opener (set to v attacking tho), and Cuss has just passed 1,000 runs for the season. Probably should have TIEd this match, but I wanted to ensure I was unbeaten at the halfway stage of the league schedule. *shrugs* Banagher Knight is dominating their match though, so I still won't have any breathing space in 1st spot - it's essentially going to come down to my next match against them, unless they lose between now and then (and I don't).

I'm second in the promotion table for my 'grade', team above has a team of old codgers - I have 2 17yo (batter who bowls, wicket-keeper) and 1 18yo (bowler) in my starting 11, so I'm not doing badly. I think it's reaching the stage where I can beat most teams in my division on TIE. Looking forward to a more competitive game hopefully on Sunday - ironically a friendly...

I wouldn't mind some decent 17yo trainees myself. I get a bit worried when I see players like this going around:

3. Tim Whitehorne - 18 yo, BT Rating=24,097

LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, feeble form, Healthy
A steady player with strong leadership skills and worthless experience.

Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: strong Concentration: proficient
Bowling: quality Consistency: proficient
Fielding: woeful

Bah, it's doing the annoying middle-overs stagnating thing again. Very annoying when the run-rate drops dramatically even though no wickets are falling. Not complaining about 170-0 after 27 though. Gillete into the 90s.

Centuries for both openers, probably about the 4th or 5th time I've managed that but the first time for this pair:

End of Over 34: 223-0, runrate=6.56
Follett 7-0-51-0
Gillete* 112 (113 balls)
Cuss 104 (93 balls)

If only we could play a bowling attack comprised entirely of competents every week... 400 is probably a bit distant but we should get 350 hopefully. Gillete's just been dismissed for 116 tho.

Berry out for 11... Gillespie in.

I had my opposition 5 down for 7 runs today on TIE. :D

56 all out with Malik taking 6/13. Knocked 'em off for the loss of one wicket.

My team is crap compared to you guys though, a competent is pretty good for me. :p

Hooray for Cuss.

End of Over 50: 351-2, runrate=7.02

Cuss 166* (141 balls)
Gillete 116 (117 balls)
Gillespie 47* (33 balls)

New high scores for both Cuss and Gillete. Should be able to do some good to my NRR if we knock them over quickly. Their openers are good, but after that all the batsmen seem to be around the competent/mediocre level. A 5w haul for Gillespie would be nice, get him to his 100.
