What the hell. Both cameel's and andy/nick's matches were decided on the last ball of the 50th over of the second innings. Bizarre.

Looking forward to my friendly against PY later on tonight. Picked nine batsmen (or at least nine guys who are capable of batting) and set them all to very attacking, and will open the bowling with my opening batsman, who's never bowled before. Should be good fun, though it'll probably be a disaster. :D

I saw the commentary just before it disappeared - you hit six singles off the last over.

indeed

Code:
49.5 1 Ohara to Nile
lift, late cut to deep bwd point region for an easy single
49.6 1 Ohara to Colley
strokes it into the leg side for a leisurely single

Dammit!! I come home to see a loss on the last ball.
Positive signs from new buys Coldicott and Dyer though.

Think i could be in trouble today, decided to pick a youth side with 7 first teamers left out, they've won the toss and are batting on a green pitch

Guys, where do you bowl your worst bowler?? 4th or 5th?
If you're using default orders, I'd say either 3rd or 4th. 4th bowler doesn't bowl any overs in the first 15/last 10, but has to bowl 10 in a row, so if his stamina's poor, then he'll get slaughtered anyway. 5th bowler has to bowl in the last 10, so I wouldn't use my worst bowler there. That's assuming you're playing against a decent batting side; if you're playing a bot or someone crap I'd just put him as 5th bowler. I use the sets of 5 orders now - generally I find it much better, but it's harder to hide a bad bowler.

My worst 'bowler' will be opening the bowling today though. :D

My losing streak is now 10. That was a good game Cameeel. Ive been getting so close to actually winning a game lately, losing this one on the last ball and the game before that by 10 runs, so maybe i might actually win a game next weekend.

Ooh, international matches are coming soon, according to the news page. I'd think Cuss is a good chance of making the national squad as there aren't many quality players at the moment. Gillespie would be an outside chance as well since the WI player pool is quite small, and he is the leading wicket-taker in WI this season anyway. Depends on how quickly the matches are introduced really - if it's not until next season, Gillespie has no chance.

none of my players will make national team, although Osman has a chance togheter with Noshworth.

It'd be a lot harder to make the England team than the WI team, since England has ten times as many managers/players. Which will also mean that the England team will be about ten times as good as the WI team... damn.

No change there then.
