Including the money from Louis, about 3.9m, would have a bit more but I just ordered a 240k ground expansion. Not planning on spending it all though, want to keep a bit to earn interest off.

How high are you willing to bid? I doubt I'd go over 3m so if you're planning to bid that high I could save you some money by not putting in a bid at all. I'm not really fussed, I don't need a new bowler urgently.

Fair enough, no need for me to get into a bidding war with you then. I'll wait till someone suitable turns up on the market, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to beat Hakon on Sunday with a 2.5-man bowling lineup.

Just bought this guy for 350k, which was a mistake on my part but nothing too serious as I have a home game on Friday. Had no intentions of going that high but I got irritated with people pinching players because I'm not there at deadline so put in too much.

Keith Bardle (825229)
RH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, fresh
A destructive player with superb leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Durrington Albion
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 7,865
Wages: £454 p/w

Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: respectable Consistency: competent
Fielding: abysmal

Given the state of transfer market, it's not a killer. Although his wages are rather low, I have spare nets to get him to proficient by 18 hopefully.

At least he's got superb leadership... you'd certainly get value if you trained them and sold them on again.

He'll be better, mark my words.

Anyone fancy a friendly this wkend against a down-and-out Indian side? I'm playing Leeds United on Friday and will get thumped so I imagine it'll be a walkover for a reasonable side.
