Ashes Trivia

Pretty sure he took no wickets in Melbourne and 1 in Adelaide last time down under, which would make Warne and Ponting 12 and 13.
afraid not.

I'm also going for Bell at short leg, bat pad or whatever.
bingo.

IIRC Warne scored 70-something at Sydney.

I'm guessing 71, 74 or 77.
since scores are harder to pinpoint i'll give that, 71 before he was destined to fall to the Montster

In fact did Gilchrist not make a duck, putting himself under huge pressure for his place before going ape**** in the 2nd dig?

Was Ponting 7? Either him or Symonds I think.
dismissal 7 or that was his total runs? if it is the latter ponting was 150 and symonds was not 7, and if it is the former then no on both accounts i'm afraid

I thought I'd already identified Warne was stumped for 71?
yeah sorry it was on copy paste before you did so it wasn't there oops

That tons quiz I got 182.

Dyson, Hilditch, Randall and Symonds I missed.
That's very impressive.

I got 178, but I lost out due to poor spelling. Healey ('ey') and Wellham (one 'l) cost me three tons. With Matt Elliott, I simply forgot the bloke's name, despite remembering him being vitally dropped by Thorpe for the first of his two hundreds. Beyond that, I completely forgot about Greg Ritchie in 1985 and Katich in 2009. And I refuse to accept that Greg Matthews made a hundred against us.

I reckon Clarke was a 2nd innings slog wicket so I'll put him 13th and guess he made 30
that's correct on all but runs which are lower

Opener I'll guess Warner for about 3 million.
unfortunately i'm a frayed knot.

Nah IIRC it was a nut which just turned past his defence and hit off peg.

He got Smith like that too in the same game. Rogers is the opener.
