    Lol Pak

Batting is so **** and why are Kakmal and Malik still playing. Will we ever get rid of them?

Never in a million years would I have thought Brumby to admit this!!!!!!

Great effort by our blokes. The pressure of playing the hosts in so massive a game in such a big tournament is hard to underestimate. Kudos to the boys, who will hopefully push on now into the latter stages of the tournament and bring home the bookies' second most prized trophy.

    Finch rose to the occasion
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

Hedging you win either way. Otherwise you're left with results like NZ losing the unloseable.

Shame there isn't a plate competition as the selectors would undoubtedly have liked another look at Finch, Muirhead and Christian against the mighty cloggers before selecting the test team to play Pakistan layer this year

Bangladesh news : No cricket at home for two years - Shakib Al Hasan | Cricket News | World T20 | ESPN Cricinfo

I have to say, it sounds like Shakib is under horrendous stress. To come straight out and say, "I'm just not capable of winning matches as a bowler" seems to indicate that he's really struggling with the expectations placed on him, and may even be suffering some form of depression as a result.

I thought that too, initially, but then we have no idea how bad the Bangla press is. For all we know, maybe they were being hyped as one of the prime contenders for the trophy what with it being at home and all. Incidentally, Shakib did actually come out and say before the tournament that the expectations from the Bangladeshi people were unrealistic

He just asked for his fans to not see cricket for 2 years.

The same fans who turn out in large numbers match after match no matter how pathetic Bangladesh are.

These guys are living a pretty good lifestyle. If they have to deal with unrealistic expectations they can suck it up.

Hafeez resigns as captain. Also resigns from vice-captaincy of tests and ODIs. That sucks balls.
