Does bring up the question as to what to do now if current managers decide to quit.

My view is that if that happens (which we obviously hope it doesn't) there should be the chance for a current manager to apply for the job in preference to an outsider for 2 reasons:

1) it wouldn't be fair for a new person to just come in and take over one of the best sides without having served an "apprenticeship"

2) the current managers have proven to stick to deadlines and it would be rewarding loyalty.

Any thoughts?

I agree, but if say the qld or nsw manager did drop out there would be so many swaps.

But they're more successful then some and are top division teams.

GB would IMO, he knows how responsive managers have been to his requests.

I agree 100% with Marc on this.

To the rest who said about endless swaps if say QLD took the job, then someone would need to replace QLD etc.. That would never happen.

why??? Because why would you leave a top side to become the manager of an equal side???

What myself and Marc are saying is (use Deckard as an example) he currently owns a 3rd div side... he would then be perfect to step up to take over NSW (for example) then we get a new manager in to replace the lesser teams (Sorry guys )
