Interesting to note that Australia’s best batsman, Brad Hodge is their most experienced 20/20 cricketer. The rest excluding Symonds, whose also a seasoned 20/20 cricketer played like uninformed idiots. Although, knowing are luck they will come good on Friday, big style.

It was pretty clear that none of our guys had much of an idea how to approach this innings -- bar those two. Symonds got out to a bit of bad luck, just overbalanced, and Hodge wasn't out. We should've batted second...Batting second is definitely easier on this pitch.

hmmmmmmmm, ah well eagerly anticipating to see how quick Lee can get it throught to Gilchrist...
I’m more concerned on how quickly Lee gets hit to the boundary.

Though Bracken and Johnson should be good to watch, left handers who can swing the ball usually enjoy Newsland at night.

Anywhere else and I would agree but batting under lights is extremely difficult in Cape Town.

And it would be an outrageous performance by the Zimbabweans to get even close to the Australian total.

Really hope we can salvage something here. Awesome stuff by Zimbabwe.

5 for Bracken on his birthday? Sounds like a plan.

Whats Scottlands excuse then? They play plenty of twenty 20 yet still they batted like fools, trying to clear the boundary all the time instead of hitting it!

Unlike us, they know how the pitch is playing, they know they can take it easy early on, get their eye in...We thought we had to get in and smash the hell out of it. Which was proven to be very wrong and we realised that after about 5 overs. They have it easier.

Plus, they face Lee and Johnson, easier to get those guys to the boundary, easier to clear those guys to the boundary.

Do they? Captain Watson played his first ever 20/20 game today…

The quicker one bowls on that pitch the easier it would become to bat as the pitch is really slow.
