You dont have to see a keeper botching a stumping to realise how bad he is.Dhoni is certainly not the worst. He only botches a few stumping chances to Kumble. Haven't seen the others carefully - he might be the worst if they are all very good.
The best test of a keeper is how good he is standing up for the simple reason that it gives him ridiculously little reaction time to take snicks or sudden unexpected deviations of direction or height.
This is where the technical excelence and hence the quality of a keeper is exposed.
Just watch the next game that Dhoni keeps wickets in and see how many balls hit the middle of his gloves when standing up. A very small proportion I can tell you in advance but you dont have to take my word. Go and watch and keep score. It is indicative of poor footwork technique, early getting up etc. Many of these poor collections may not actually be chances but they tell you that the probablilty of this keeper taking the chance when it came is relatively low.
