Ireland won One Day International Status - i.e. ODIs.

T20Is are not ODIs.

Last time around, Associate 1 (Scotland) got more points than the WI.

Admittedly, that was because it rained.

Hopefully next time they will use a T20 tournament to decide who qualifies for the T20 world cup

Scotland were ranked Associate 1 following the tournament results.
