R Amjad for me, leading run scorer to date and was a major factor in Pakistan getting so far in the tournment. Lead a below strength Pakistan batting line up, compared to some of the top sides, brilliantly.

Yeah i went Stratton..

He was a fringe player coming into this tournament for us and was going to have to step up being the 5th bowling option.. He proved to alot of people this WC that he still is a class player, both with bat and ball...

Can't go past Stratton, any one who can bat at an average of 144.5 and take 12 wickets deserves the player of the tournament. Still some other mighty performances from the other players mentioned in what has overall been an interesting world cup.

Perhaps but 11 isn't much difference from 12 really, either way Stratton still was the most impressive in this world cup.
