Yup...

"This cricketer is Guyanese. And as I write this column, I have heard accounts from no fewer than eleven women, one of them a teenager who allege that they have been ***ually assaulted, raped, or subjected to unwanted ***ual advances by him."

11 rape accusations was me putting it rather mildly

This is quite disturbing. I’m curious, has it been confirmed anywhere to actually have been Shamar? All the sources just seem to say Guyanese cricketer and assume him, though tbf, any other Guyanese cricketers in and around the Windies international squad are not nearly as famous.

*Was supposed to be arrested from the airport when he landed from Australia, but instead got a heroes welcome*

If I remember correctly, I remember reading that the individual was supposed to be arrested when they returned but they got a "hero's welcome" when they returned from Australia and were momentarily untouchable, that kind of made it obvious who the one accused is.

Will be an interesting study of Guyanese law and Windies cricket overall to see how this pans out, sadly.

Norwood's on Fire
They are a horribly biased bunch. Still remember the podcast they did after Lords 23 and looked like someone has died

Jaiswal
Buckett
Root
Smith
Brook
Pant
Jansen
Cummins
Rabada
Bumrah
Lyon
You’ve picked the same England players as the super biased Englishman
