Lara is inconsistent. He shows his sheer genius now and then. With his talent he should have had a Test average in the high 50's.

Dravid is arguably the best Test batsman today.

SRT faced the same situation as BCL from 89 to 2000......thats probably as much time as BCL had to till now.

And 89-2000 SRT had a similar record to BCL.

So, under pressure, both play similarly. So how can you call BCL the better batsman on that account ?....BCL may be a better batsman thaN SRT , but the 'pressure' point you put across is not a valid reason for that.

Tendulkar has been a matchwinner for us. The 3 tons against Australia, the 128 vs Sl and the 95 vs PAK were superb knocks.

oh yes, without a doubt and as i was saying in another thread it wasn't entirely his fault that Ind lost the WC final. i THINK that the bowlers who conceded 349 should shoulder just a bit of the blame too.
