4. Shai
5. Sherfane
6. Chase
7. Romario
8. Motie
9. Alzarri
10. Shamar
11. Jayden

3 keepers in the side is a good headache. Jangoo can easily replace KC. Need either Chase or Greaves as the extra bowler.

I remember Floyd Reifer's batting when we played your second string team on that tour in 2009 when the main guys were on strike. Dreadful batsman - as bad as I've seen at test level. Not that being a sub-test level batsman stopped anyone being a very good batting coach obviously. I hope he's amazing.

Reifer was first called up to the senior team in 1998. He sucked. Kept sucking….played mostly for the Combined Campuses and Colleges.

He’s been part of our coaching staff now for quite a few years now. This is not something new for him.

In the CPL, he’s the batting coach for the Saint Lucia Kings— same team that Sammy is coach of.

Six players in consideration for test skipper (some whose place in the team is not guaranteed lol):

“The six players who were interviewed were Roston Chase, Joshua DaSilva, Tevin Imlach, Jomel Warrican, John Campbell, and Justin Greaves. I am told that two former Test captains are part of the selection process. All candidates went through psychometric testing. A second round of interviews are to be conducted shortly, after which the West Indies Test Captain will be announced” Mason noted.”

Our players should be heading to Ireland ASAP:

Cricket West Indies (CWI) is closely monitoring the escalating situation between India and Pakistan following recent military actions in the region. We are in active communication with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and our players currently involved in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL).

We have also engaged our strategic partner, West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA), to coordinate and ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all West Indies players and support personnel in the region. The welfare of our people remains our highest priority.

CWI continues to receive regular updates through diplomatic, governmental, and cricketing channels, and stands ready to offer assistance where necessary. We remain committed to the spirit of international cricket and to supporting our players through this uncertain and sensitive period.
