-Hugh Tumble ????SJS said:This legendary cricketer holds a bowling performance in tests (which he shares with another two), another aspect of this record is a first class world record unsurpassed till date and held by him singly, he held another record in tests for his country which was over taken by a legend of recent times AND is part of a batting record (in first class games) which still stand !!
Who is this remarkable cricketer and what are these records ??

-the perfomance was two hat-tricks which he shares with Wasim Akram and TJ Mathews
-And i understand was a good defensive batsman with 3 FC hundreds and 4 Test fifties
Amazing that scorecard with 8 batsmen passing 50. i remember one of England's innings last year when all batsmen went into double figures.SJS said:YES
His performances:-
1. Two test hat tricks which he shares , as you rightly say, with wasim and Mathews
2. The second of these was in his last first class game(and last test match naturally) which is a record that still stands.
3. He held the record for the maximum wickets in Ashes series (141) till Lillee over took him.
4. He was one of the eight batsmen who scored over fifty in a first class game, a world record. It was a score of 843 by the Australians against the Combined Oxford and Cambridge Varsity teams (past and present) in 1893. This was then the highest score in a first class match anywhere in the world. It still remains the highest score by a representative Australian side. Turner scored 105.
