Who is the 2nd Best Batsman in away conditions?

I am unable to understand why barrington is not considered as a same tier batsman as Hobbs , hutton etc even though his average is ridiculous in so many metrics.

1. Shorter international playing career than most greats (he didn't make the team until he was right into his batting prime.
2. Played in a batting friendly era.
3. Some perception issues due to slow scoring, low peer rating, away performances being less visible than home performance in his time.

Ken Barrington is quite similar to Malcom Marshall - An extraordinary record but lacks the longevity.

Nah.The more countries you add, the greater the odds of an underperformance. The fact that Tendulkar succeeded against eight teams plus minnows away is more impressive than Viv's more concentrated four countries.
