unfortunately all of the ea games from 97 onwards are crap, no offense. 97-was **** 98- little better 2000-crap 2002-was decent but boring 05-looks similar to the previous ones.

ICC 2002- is awesome better gameplay than the ea series apart from cricket 96 which is probable the bestcricket game ever.

Well..May I know what features are there in ICC 2002..coz most of them are saying its the best..but as far as i know...I played the demo...all we do is just do the correct captaincy in each match..we dont hold any controls to bat, bowl.

Everything which counts in admiring a game is that u should enjoy playing it,doesn't matter whether u hold controls or not.

So,for most people,ICC is the best but I still have the opinion that Cricket 2005 is one of the better ones,if not the best Cricket game ever .

My ratings:

1) Cricket 2004 (with mods) - Gameplay is nice and brisk with plenty of variety, graphics look good and scores are realistic with the mods added. Still play it loads. Without the mods this might be lower in the order.
2) Cricket 2005 - Close second. Very nice graphics and presentation. Replays look great. I don't like the sluggish gameplay and difficulty of batting but with mods this could be a great game.
3) BLC 2005 - Decent effort, smooth realistic gameplay but game runs far too quickly and seems very repetitive. Also no autoplay!
4) Shane Warne '97 (and BLC '96) - Good game for it's time. Nice and fun to play with decent graphics and first cricket game with county teams. First with autoplay.
5) BLC '99 - Very good game with the best graphics and commentary at that time. Good atmosphere. Gameplay was a bit boring though. Also too easy to win.
6) Cricket '96 - Good, funny arcade style game with wicked gameplay. Graphics were crap and commentary was terrible though.
7) Cricket 97 - Good gameplay with lots of depth but commentary was poor and graphics were very basic. Problems with crashing too.
8) ICC series - Good for cricket boffs but I like games where you actually take part in the match.
9) Cricket 2002 - Nothing good to say about this really, fair graphics but the rest of the game was terrible. Felt very unrealistic and unfinished.

Haven't played Vaughan's Cricket Manager.

Super International Cricket on SNES.

Still the most fun cricket game I've ever played.
