Not counting a single innings performance but across at least two innings.

What is the greatest match batting, bowling and all-round performances?

In recent times, Batting: Kohli’s 107 and 93 vs peak Anderson/Broad(and Woakes) on a really spicy pitch(that resulted in an away win for India), allrounder: Steyn McG 2008(76 and 10fer), bowling: Murali 16fer vs Eng

In terms of bowing, I think Harwani or Massie taking 16 wickets on debut has to be up there.

Also Laker's 19, Hadlee 15 and Holding 14 on a dead track.

I will just go ahead and throw in Vijay Hazare's Melbourne twin Tons against the Invincibles here. Personally think one of the best batting performances across innings in a losing match.

Hedley Verity at Lord’s 1934 worth a shout. Against a batting lineup including Woodfull, Brown, Bradman and McCabe. 29 (came in at 7/359, out at 10/440) 7/61, 8/43.

tbf the match was rain affected but still.

In terms of batting, Lara scoring a double ton and a ton against Murali and Gooch scoring 456 runs against India have to be up there as well.

Laker. Nobody is bettering a 19 for...
I get it, but that was a tailor made pitch. Compare that to Holding taking 14 wickets on a road against England or Harbi in 2001 against an ATG lineup.

And then you have Massie taking 16 wickets on debut in an away win against England.
