He's pushing the ball along the ground before he's in control of his movements..not out just like Starcs Ashes non-catch

Despite umpire giving it, soft signals don't exist anymore. How could he see anyway, like first replay can only see back of bowlers head rather than the catch
They do in Domestic cricket as it was stated by the comms when it happened

soft signal is now outlawed in international level cricket

I would say out. It looks as if Critchley has his fingers beneath and therefore, as the ball slides forward it is likely not touching the ground, especially as we know that the foreshortening effect of the 2d image makes the ball look close to the ground than it is. In the Starc case his fingers were less obviously under the ball as he pushed it forward along the ground.

i dont think theres any doubt the ball touched the turf in Starc's case lol
