You guys realize that to stand stock still at the crease, and still cart bowlers all around the ground the way Sehwag does, requires incredible hands, eyes, and reflexes. Yes, he'd have to adjust his technique for the earlier era, but I think he's probably better suited than most "flat era bashers" to do so.

Isn’t the whole point of the flat era making it easier for players like Sehwag to just stand there and whack at it? So a current era or older area with generally more movement and variation would expose them more than others?

Sehwag would probably do well enough in India say around 40+. But in the WI imo, he'd average around 30 or so. So overall maybe 35ish.
Lateral movement was poison to Sehwag. He wouldn't be able to inflate his average in Australia and WI either in the 80s.

But 35ish is a good call.
