Top five asian batsman in test cricket

International Captain
overall I'll take Kohli's record as he atleast won a game at Trent Bridge
I mean, Miandad just played in an era of more draws... Some of the good inns he has could have definitely won games if teams actually played faster

Yeah actually he double ton he scored in England was intentionally I believe to outscore England and leave the result either a win or draw.

I just don't rate Miandad's England record whatsoever though.
Whatever rating you give it it's better than Kohli in England averaging 33, with a horror tour, ATG tour, pour tour and two flop WTC finals.

Frankly Miandad in WI also should be looked at again. He had an early career tour he flopped and then a great tour in 88.

That's the lowest scoring series in history of test cricket for a middle order batter (3-5), with min 10 inns. Overall it's the third lowest behind Warner and Sarwate
What's worse is that Kohli had already started his golden run by then. I would be willing to overlook 2014 if he had followed up 2018 with another good tour to show his issues are laid to rest.
