They're at a similar level for me (as is Younis). Kohli had the best prime and is the best player of pace and in sena conditions... But he's also clearly worse against spin... And for consistency throughout or majority of their careers... I have Miandad a bit higher

Kohli is better as his home conditions were much tougher and fairer than Javed and he almost replicates his performance and it's a choke slam in Kohli's favour in SENA.

It's not a chokeslam in SENA. Miandad is arguably the greatest batsman vs Hadlee in their career and was also clearly better in England. Yes Kohli is clearly better in Aus. Miandad didn't play in SA, Kohli's work in SA is ATG which is a positive, but it's not one sided overall in SENA

It is, respectfully, I don't think it's even close on spicy SENA wickets. Javed was ATG in NZ but well below expectations in England, West Indies and Australia. Kohli was ATG in SA, miles better than Javed in Australia and imo better in England.

I agree that Miandad's avg is deceptive of his record in Eng, the 2 big scores really inflate his avg, but I don't think Kohli has a claim to be better in Eng.
He was tailender like in 2014, had a great series in 2018 (helped by quite a few drops, but still) and again quite poor last time around.
Javed imo was a bit more consistent still, even though he was a bit disappointing too. Kohli was more disappointing though imo

I will take his 2018 tour well over anything Javed did in England.
