On the verge of shameful t20 series defeat against UAE. Nothing to take away from UAE as they have been superb. Their opening batsman Mohammad Waseem also the captain is a good batsman and someone to watch out for.
We fell short of 20/30 runs in the first two games. The pitch was absolutely belter. Fizz bailed us out somewhat in the first game and the bowlers and fielders were horrible in the second game.
Liton is a horrible captain. His bowling rotation is just rubbish. There is no sense or thought in it. Don't know why hes made captain for the next two years when his place is in doubt. We are carrying Shanto in the squad for some unknown reason. Sending Mahedi at 5 was a mistake and dropping Parvez in the second game after he made a century was foolish. Also they dropped Hasan Mahmud when he was the only one who moved a bit under lights. The rotation policy is a mess overall.

I did not have too many hopes on Faruk Ahmed (now sacked BCB president) when he took the job. Didn't think it was the right choice. Aminul Islam is far better choice than him. He was working with ICC in their development project and played a good role in resurrecting cricket in Afghanistan. Glad that he took the job for us now.
