Agreed. But it's the same for everyone, really - we all associate a certain avatar with each member depending on which avatar said member had when we first got to know their posting style, attitude or general demeanor. Avatars aren't for everyone else though, they are a personal thing (or something to remind of us stupid bets we've made. :p).

For example, I saw you say that you'd like to see me with my "Prince EWS" avatar - it's no coincidence that my best period of posting and first serious stint was at the time I had it.

Nah, that was during the bird on the perch period (and I could've sworn you had that bird of times during previous occasions our paths crossed, when I always rated you even if you didn't :)). The "Prince EWS" one came after that, but I still liked that one best. :p Cos I think it goes best with your posting-ID.

Nishant's had several spells with that avatar, I always hope he'll keep it as a long-term thing when he's not losing a forfeit or celebrating something. I presume he likes it on himself as much as I do.

Same with Ethan (DCC_legend) who I've encouraged to use something that fits with his posting-ID - ie, his club (DCC) pavilion.
