subset of fast bowlers, medium pacers, medium fast/fast medium, express etc
Fast bowlers and fast medium bowlers are separate sets entirely. "Pace bowler" is the universal set, Fast, Fast medium etc are it's subsets.
"Express bowler" is not a classification.

Pace is synonymous with speed though, saying a pace bowler and a fast bowler is technically the same thing.

Speed doesn't mean "fast". A tortoise and a rabbit both may have speed (v≠0), doesn't mean both are fast.
fast is a relative term though, if the two types of bowlers are to be taken as spinners and pacers, even the slowest of pacers are "fast" compared to the spinners.

A fast bowler playing 20 years is inherently superior to a batsman playing 24
True, but Anderson was pretty much a single format specialist, while Tendulkar played ODIs till 2012.

However, being a fast bowler for 20 years itself is an extraordinary feat.
