Ive played a couple of games with ur sim and its pretty good. Just a couple of suggestions, mainly to do with the change bowler and new batsmen screens. It would be nice to see more information on the players like for the new batsmen screen be able to see the batsmen avg and sr. And with the change bowler screen, seeing the bowlers sr would be nice as well as being able to set the agression.

A problem i found was on the team select screen when u look at the career avgs, you get players from other teams in the stats. Apart from that its pretty good.

yeah a good game overall, maybe adding individual battig aggression preferences, i.e. Gilchrist scores about a run a ball on normal aggression, and Martyn and Hussain score aboiut 60-70 per hundred balls


same with bowling- Bowlers like McGrath can bowl much more aggressivley without conceding line 7 or 8 per over

I'd like to see an update of squads to WC squads and stats.....seeing as the editor isn't working for me.....

Yea we ( the game makers ) had discussed that and its hard updating teams often as there is like a team change every 2 weeks or so so we will try and deliever and updated squad every month or 2 months depending upon availability and we havent stopped working on the game

Rest assured that a new version of the game will be available as soon as we fix the known bugs and implement some new features. As pointed out by Reuben, we're still working on the game.

As for the updated records, an editor is provided so that you can update the teams yourself as making an updated team may not be possible by us all the time since we're too busy developing the game. If there's a problem with the editor, let us know the exact error and we'll try to fix that as soon as possible.

Just a bit busy with the college 4 the past 2 days and Indias wc campaign took a bit of my time as well .
Ill probably get an update going by next week as Ill get much more time to work on it during the weekend.

Meanwhile thanks every1 for the suggestions and pointing out the bugs!

Well done to all you guys who developed and made Total Cricket. It is by far the most feature packed freeware cricket sim there is. I have just one little suggestion. It would be great if you could display more stats for bowlers such as best bowling returns and averages (average runs conceded per wicket). The batting aspect of the game is excellent. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

Sorry guys, I didn't realise these stats had already been implemented in the player profiles. The statistics are excellent and comprehensive and I couldn't ask for more. Cheers. :P

Thanks a lot for your feedback lankan prince , the team on the game ( yaju, sriram , quickfire and myself ) are still continuing work on the team and its great to get feedback

I think this is the best freeware cricket game out yet and it would be great if the word was spread around a lot more !

Please continue giving suggestions on what else we could add , we are still working on the bugs etc to make the game better each time

A Suggestion

The tournaments in total cricket especially world cup consume a lot of time and hence it may not be possible to play them in one single stretch. U Cud make a save the state of a tournament function in the next version.

Great game but seeing I am a complainer and think that I deserve everything for nothing here is my suggestions:

* Change the purple background (or at least make it changeable)

* Play games in more than one over chunks (as a option)

So Far we for the new update we might be:

1) Changing graphics obviously the purple colour to blue or something

2) Save feature or something close enough to save the pain ppl go through playing a long time

3) Newer Squads ( WC squads hopefully )

4) Fixing the suggested Bugs

Later on We Will try and work on :

1) Weather Conditions

2) Test feature

3) Better Interface / more userfriendly

4) County cricket feature

You won't believe but adding a run-rate graph and a help file are already in out wish list for the next version.

great game
test matches would be excellent i was wondering if you implement injuries and tiredness for the bowlers just like the settling for the batsmen.

also u should put qualifications in the recordes so players who have onlyplayed a few matches and scored some runs should be invalid until they meet qualifications like maybe 20 innings for averages.

i was wondering if morale is in the game if not it should be introduced and possibly training.

i am actually not sure on the training just an idea?

and a career mode select one team and win world cup with them or something

Its all being put together and we will review all of it and implement it all into set parts to get things done well but slowly..

There has been a bit of a long break with us the developers of the game... and we are yet to get together and do some changes

its not easy having big time differences either
