Was an evenly distributed 38 skill bat I was bidding on that sold overnight, wanted to see how much he went for in the end…

By some miracle/voodoo **** GG CC have scraped their way to 198 in the 50 overs without getting bowled out. The tail wagged a bit.

Hadi Hafeez has impressed me in this innings. He needs to play with the big boys more often.

Now on to the chase!

Held on against the Astronauts to get a 13-run win. Michael Winton's 80 (60) backed up the 151-7, the strike-hogger. He's been pretty good since promoted to open the T20 innings, despite low touch. Positive signs - it's a damn good Ashgrove attack, no one else really fired (apart from Branning getting a start, as expected on a slow low pitch). We sported 8 overs of sub-4 BQ, but hung on for the victory. No no balls or wides were bowled in the game.

21 pops for AX-W! Some biggies too: O'Callaghan, Ramsbottom, Ward.

Feel like you’re just a better put together T20 side than I am. Good contest though.

the 160 kmph bowler has become fast medium after weekly update wtf
good thing is that he's young + precocious, so you can train him back up

He's an "effort bowler', which means his 160kmph delivery comes from his 'Effort' ball. His stock ball is probably slower.

It's unusual for a 17 YO to 'plop' in skills tho. He must have been right on the edge between Fast and Fast Medium. Did you train him in Line and Length? That leads to a decline in speed.

Free HK are big favourites according to the Expert Preview ... however if you strip out tail end batting and fielding Jura batting is 61.5 and Free HK 64 and Jura bowling 62 and Free HK 63 - desperate way of putting it I know !!

Law and Yau - two heavyweight batsmen are ominously restoring the FHK innings after 15 overs
