Steve Smith. Steyn was brilliant but shy of Marshall and McGrath whereas other than Bradman, no one imho is quality wise ahead of Smith.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but no way Smith has separated himself from Sachin, Sobers, Richards et al

Was thinking about this in relation to the other concurrent poll involving these two (greatest 21st century cricketer) where the votes are currently Kallis 7 Smith 4 Steyn 4. (obvs a lot of the people voting Kallis would say Steyn is individually better)
Steyn alone contributes more to a team and had just as great a dominance over his peers, its very close for me, not sure who I’d pick rn tbh.

I was also thinking it was going to be close. Given that Smith was getting solidly near best behind Bradman you would think that would overcome a top tier pacer.
