I know you don't value strike rate, or flamboyance, but is it possible that you punish them (him and DkL) because of it?

Nah I deliberately try to ignore batting SRs when initially comparing any players.

I think they’re overrated based on those factors, but I don’t downgrade them because of that, I just rate them where I think they should be, based on the factors I personally judge players on.

He is 50 Tests away. He'd have to play till 39/40. It'd likely come down to 50. But I don't think he'll play more than 2 yrs. He is already taking up commentary deals and what not. (IPL)
