Virat Kohli maybe. Scored his only century in t20i as an opener (122*). Also averages 36 with a S/R of 148 as an opener, which is not bad in t20. Whereas, Smith averages 28 an an opener in tests. Still have to see more from Smith to draw conclusion as he might play as an opener from now on.
