Can't remember another bowler who was so mediocre average below 27 in recent times.

If any of his batsmen gave him any sort of support he won't under pressure all the time. In recent times, its almost like WI bowlers have been more effective with the bat then WI batsmen.

Who else is better? Gayle gave up captaincy. Chandrapaul is about to retire. Sarwan doesn't seem like the captain type.

Sarwan has done a good job captaining Guyana, but unfortunately I don't think his rocky relationship with the WICB will be sorted any time soon, for him to be given the captaincy....

He's captain and also making decent contributions every game now, but I don't see him justifying currently, and definitely not long-term, a place ahead of WI' s other quicks or an extra bat.
