So from a minimum of 20 tests, Marnus Labuschagne now has the greatest rate of 50+ scores of all time

and so on. I think there's something to be said about this, he may not being going big every time he gets 50, but the fact he's doing it so consistently means he's almost a guarantee to make a decent contribution to the side every game. The anti-Marcus North

A man who's average of 60 is actually a very good reflection of what you can expect from him every time. Nailed on for runs

How can you express that as percentage? Innings in numerator, tests in denominator. It should be expressed as 0.9 fifties per test. Use correct units

In 90% of his tests he gets a 50+ score. What's wrong with saying it like that?
Some tests where he got multiple 50's. The actual figure is 65% tests he scored at least one 50+ score

Bradman I believe leads that statistic with 73%, or 76% if you only count matches where he actually played an innings

Haha Dicko would pursue this hard for Marnus but truth is Labuskugnee has mastered the most important shot of all - the play and miss.

It's disgusting, but I respect him.
Hmm, he's also seemingly had tons of luck with drops which is different and not exact sustainable.

He'll probably still average 50 or so because he's seriously good though.

Great, it's huge considering how many of them have come in away tests.

Bit of a weird way to say it and it's not actually the case because some games he's made 2 50+ scores. But as long as you're consistent with every player in the list it's still an effective measurement.

Doesn't take into account innings though, some other player might have batted less innings in a given no. of Tests. More accurate way would be to do it per innings.

His career trajectory will be interesting to watch. Will he be remembered alongside GChappell, Border, Ponting, Smith, McCabe and Harvey as a contender for 2nd best after the Don?

Still get the impression that heyll end up as a KP/Laxman/Clarke kinda player who averages a tad under 50 and is borderline an ATG
