Sure, they deserve credit for it but If you think I'm gonna decide my top ten because of dominating the lineup of Knight-Atherton-Hussein-Keeper Stewart-Ramprakash-Injured Thorpe on fast bowling friendly wickets than I think I don't have the same view of Cricket as many.

for example, I upgraded Wasim over Donald recently just because Wasim's performance away from home were impressive to me.
I mean, all of us look at batting quality regardless but I would give more points to a great series against a mid lineup than no success against a mid lineup.

But the case with Trueman is that his series in Aus and WI, even with context, can at best be described as good. He doesn't have a single great series outside home and played 2/3rds at home. There is only so much we can spin that record and I think he deserves to be behind those ATGs with more proven away records regardless of how exceptional he was at home.

Not getting games with mid lineups away from home isn't really his fault, just the away stamp is not reason enough for me to rate something highly.

Yeah I agree and you're already aware of that, he got two serieses on flat wickets against the two strongest lineups and performed very well, I'll rate ATGs with exceptional records away from home above him and I do so IE Imran (West Indies), Ambrose (Australia), Steyn (India) but without those, whom I do not consider exceptional away don't get the same treatment as those three obviously. Though we have discussed this enough times that I don't want to bother doing it again, If you want to, you're welcome to vote Pollock here.

Nah Pollock doesn't have the peer rating, overall numbers to compete with Trueman.
