England 1.44 to SA's 2.75 so yeah, but it's not as strong favourites as NZ were for the semi final. Before the tournament you'd have said England-SA is 50/50 so it's only because of what the sides looked like in the semis.
These feel like really good odds to put money on SA imo.

Yeah, England are favourites, but SA are very good at the sort of ugly win that may be required in a World Cup final. One feels the odds should be a little closer - perhaps 1.7 to 2.3 or so.

Think that Eng pundits are over estimating their team, had a really good day on Sat but NZ did make a number of uncharacteristic mistakes and played similar to how they played against Aus earlier this year. England is not gonna bully the SA forward pack like they did NZ's. SA is 1 dimensional but they are excellent at what they do and for the last few years are the only team that have pushed NZ at home by doing exactly what Eng did on Sat. Does Eng have the ability to play from behind the advantage line that NZ are capable of? I don't think so.

But whatever happens expect it to be ugly in the only way beautiful rugby can be produced.

Could it be the country is still understandably reeling from being robbed in the Cricket WC, rather than focusing on this which was more conclusive and, as has been noted, softened byt he fact you've won the last two?
If our Rugby League boys beat the Kiwis on Saturday (4 am on BBC), the gloom may deepen.
