Semi-Final #2- New Zealand v South Africa- Wednesday, March 5th- Lahore

NZTailender

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Wonder if it may be worth giving Mitchell a go and seeing if he can bowl wicket to wicket with pace off. Of course South Africa have to do all the running but they're well capable of accelerating properly with wickets in hand and NZ's death bowling isn't great.
Might be literally worth one over. We've got runs on the board so if he gets tonked take him off. But if he goes from less than 6 try one more (and more) until he goes over.

100 partnership up , Good little partnership developing here..

These two know each from domestic cricket batting for Gauteng and the Lions

Just realised something:

If New Zealand make the final here there's going to be 2 or 3 players who will have played in a World Cup ODI Final,Champions Trophy Final,T20 Final and World Test Trophy Championship final.

Smith had a chance to be the only one so far (considering Starc & Cummings didn't show) but missed out yesterday.

Nice observation, if NZ go through I think Williamson might be the only one from his side to appear in all 4.

You beat me to it because I thought about it some more and just checked the lineup from that 2015 World Cup ODI final.

Only Williamson of the lot was in that team.

Good flight from Santner to get rid of his opposition captain Bavuma but there are more dangerous SA batsmen left.

Yeah the real test for him and Bracewell will be when they have to contend with Klaasen or Miller. Bracewell will probably bowl out, but Santner might look at sneaking in a couple of overs from Phillips and Ravindra to save himself for that phase.

O'Rourke definitely looking the easiest to hit on this surface, perhaps doesn't have the accuracy or variations he needs yet. Give some overs to Phillips.

Too short from O'Rourke, making the same mistake as Jansen,

Try bowling some yorkers, even if it's too full it's better than bowling too short,
