If it were a bias thing people wouldn't be freaking out over Bumrah they way they are.

the tailor made surfaces argument are complete bullshit. Pace performs perfectly well on those surfaces too. It’s just cope because no one can beat India at home

What's a tailor-made surface anyway? Spin in India is a fact of cricketing life but there's no curator out there making bespoke surfaces for Ashwin alone. There are usually two other high-quality spinners in the Indian squad and a couple of whatevers on the visiting teamsheet too. Ashwin just happens to outperform them all on average.
