I read it as advocation to just remove the yellow region too

Lol I think something got lost in "translation" there. Comes across as though he said that if a decision is referred it should have to be changed which makes no sense. He probably meant that umpires call should just be abolished for either out or not out which is something a lot of people have been advocating for, for a while

Some people who first used to argue that we needed umpires call because of error margins have now been proven wrong, so are resorting to made up reasons like “the ball clipping the stumps should be not out”.
